I've never written a blog before, I used to write a diary when I was a teenager, until it was read by various members of my family ....... heyho, such is the trama of life.  But this blog is to be all about my crafting activities and plans for the weeks or months ahead.

Yesterday I did my first craft fair of the year, it was held to raise money for a lady who is running the London Marathon in aid of the British Lung Foundation.  It's been a while since I did a fair, the main problem being that EVERYONE seems to make cards nowadays, unless you know the organiser personally, you are unlikely to get a table at an event.  So I went armed with lots of new designs and I had an interesting day, it has to be said.  Sadly, none of my friends or family turned up and I was counting on them to provide a bit of moral support!  I sold just enough to cover the table fee, which wasn't the best outcome for the day, but at least it wasn't a loss.  I met some lovely people and had some positive comments to keep me inspired for the year ahead.

I'm currently working through a wedding stationery order which I'm really enjoying, I wish I could share the design with you, but it's top secret at the moment!  Which reminds me, I must get the gallery sorted out on here too. No point having a shop for individual cards and wittering on about wedding stationery when there are no examples of my work to make people believe in me and my designs!

Is this too long for a blog entry?  I have no idea!  I will randomly type essays if I'm not careful, so I will endevour to end this entry within the next couple of lines!  Thank you for reading, thank you for visiting the website, thank you for hopefully making your next stop my shop page and please keep in touch!
